SALE OF PROPERTIES VIA TENDER EXERCISES
In today's challenging business environment, where the need for greater transparency and accountability is demanded, Tender Exercises have become increasingly popular. Public Listed and Private Companies seeking to dispose their properties seem to favour this approach as it is transparent and allows the vendor the opportunity to secure a price better than they had projected.
MIEA is of the view that members and practitioners should be equipped with the relevant knowledge in this area as there seems to be a growing trend/demand for the sale of properties via tender.
Our President, Mr Siva Shanker, who is a partner and CEO of Agency at PPC International, has a wealth of experience in this area of sales. While working with international property consultancies and at his current firm, he has successfully managed/conducted many tender exercises.
Members will be briefed in detail on the procedures involved in carrying out a tender exercise and the critical issues that need to be addressed. Relevant documents shall also be made available for reference purposes.
Admission will be on a first come first serve basis as seats are limited to 40 persons only. Please note that preference will be given to MIEA members.
